Final Chorus Concert- May 11

The final fifth grade chorus concert will be on May 11, 2010 at 7:00 p.m. This will take place during the final PTO meeting of the year. Please remember to come fifteen minutes early to line-up. See you there!

Music Program Concert Dates

It is important that all children attend their grade level music program.

Tuesday November 17, 2009- Fifth Grade Choral Festival at Wheeling High School at 7:00 p.m.

Saturday December 12, 2009- Barnes and Noble Book Fair- Chorus

Tuesday February 9, 2010- Intermediate Music Program with chorus

Tuesday March 16, 2010- Primary Music Program

Tuesday May 11, 2010- Final Fifth Grade Chorus Concert

Fifth Grade Chorus Meeting

On Thursday August 27, 2009 there was a fifth grade chorus meeting at noon in the music room. Children went over the permission slips to be in chorus and took them home. Permission slips to be in fifth grade chorus are due on September 2, 2009. If your child still wants to be in fifth grade chorus and did not attend the meeting, please let me know.

Chorus will begin on Thursday September 3, 2009. We will meet at lunch recess on B and D days from 12:00-12:30.

Music Class Weekly Updates

Children start coming to music today. They will come with their class twice a week for a half hour. During the first few weeks, we are mostly reviewing past concepts, learning some new musical songs, and taking music pre-assessments.
